Leader Development program (LDP)

The Japan Retina and Vitreous Society (JRVS) organizes a Leader Development Program (LDP) to foster the next generation of leaders in the field of retinal and vitreous diseases.

This program brings together highly motivated young ophthalmologists from Japan, providing a platform for mutual exchange and learning. This was made possible through the generous support of Novartis Pharma K.K.

The program offers opportunities to discuss the significance and future directions of research on retinal and vitreous diseases, as well as to share challenges and solutions faced by institutions nationwide. Through these discussions, the participants gained valuable and practical insights to enhance their clinical and research expertise.

In addition, invited speakers from outside the field of ophthalmology delivered special lectures that broadened the participants’ perspectives.

The program’s comprehensive and multidisciplinary nature has been highly acclaimed for encouraging professional and personal growth among participants.
